1. Main parameters . - It is a constitutional monarchy. Sovereign King Karl XVI Gustav is from September 15, 1973. Prime Minister Reinfeldt is Friedrik from October 5, 2006. According to the constitution of 1975, the Parliament exercises the legislative function and is composed of 349 members elected for four years by universal suffrage.
